Searches for Binary Black Hole Sources in LISA Data
ORAL
Abstract
The search for gravitational-wave sources associated with binaries containing a stellar-origin black hole in LISA data presents a particularly challenging data analysis problem. The parameter space to be searched is enormous, and the signals are more complicated than other anticipated source classes. Wavelet-based compression has proven an effective acceleration technique for the parameter estimation stage. In this talk, I will present progress in searching LISA data for black hole binaries using modified wavelet-domain templates.
