Terrestrial quantum gravity tests

Abstract
It is becoming possible to test quantum properties of the gravitational field in experiments. I will give an overview of the basic ideas, emphasizing the need to state precisely what hypotheses are being tested by what experiments. This will be highlighted by some explicit models low-energy gravity that violate the usual rules of effective field theory. I will also discuss some of the basic experimental challenges to getting these tests done.
