Gravitational Waves in MOG

ORAL

Abstract

John Moffat's Modified Gravity (MOG) is a promising theory that agrees with data from the CMB, supernovae, galaxy rotation curves, galactic clusters, and wide binaries. I study the vector and tensor gravitational waves from this theory in contrast to what general relativity predicts and examine the possibility of observational signatures in single-event detections as well as in the stochastic gravitational wave background.
