Modeling Transparent Conducting Oxide Hydrogen-Like Defects Using MuSR
ORAL
Abstract
Muon Spin Relaxation (MuSR) is a technique which uses muonium, a hydrogen-like isotope, to probe a semiconductor material finding hydrogen-like defects. When analyzing MuSR data, a program called Wimbda is used in order to fit asymmetry versus time data which comes out of particle accelerator experiments. Wimbda has a series of functions which can be used to fit and model the systems. This, however, is a problem when a new type of system or model is needed because new functions cannot be added. Initially using a one signal system, the functions will be coded to model asymmetry versus time data, slowly adding more functions to be able to model more complex systems.
