Photoionization of the oxygen diatomic molecule
POSTER
Abstract
The configuration-average distorted wave method is applied to the calculations of the photoionization of O2. The total cross section includes the outer 3dπ2 shell with an ionization potential of 14.5 eV and the next outer 2pπ4 shell with an ionization potential of 19.2 eV. The theoretical cros sections are compared to the experimental resutls of JA Fennelly and DG Torr.
