Quadrupole Photoionization of Be

Abstract
A theoretical method is developed to solve the time-dependent Schrodinger equation on a 4D radial lattice and used to calculate the quadrupole photoionization cross section for the Be atom. At a photon energy of 500 eV cross sections are compared with previous quasiclassical simulations.
