Equation of State Uncertainty Quantification for Aluminum Oxide
POSTER
Abstract
Robust, predictive material models are critical ingredients for understanding downstream hydrodynamic simulations with multiple materials, particularly when extreme conditions make lab experimentation untenable. Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) analyses of constituent material models provide a framework for inferring ensembles of material models that are consistent with calibration data. This poster demonstrates a workflow for the UQ analysis for the EOS of Aluminum Oxide in order to create an uncertainty-aware baseline predictive material model. Future work will build upon this model to create more complex predictive material models of Aluminum Oxide and later inform simulations of Aluminum Oxide in an integrated context.
