Navy Technology Development and Transition Panel
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Naval Warfare Centers are the heart of technology transition for the Navy, bridging academia and industry, and providing the ability to field solutions to urgent needs. Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is the Navy's Arsenal and provides the joint services production capability for critical energetic materials and munitions. It also develops novel materials and advanced concepts for the Navy. In this panel, NSWC IHD scientists and engineers will discuss the command's multi-disciplinary research and development and test and evaluation programs, and how collaborations with academia and industry can lead to faster transition of technologies to the Navy fleet.
