Cosmology and galaxy evolution from emission line galaxy surveys
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
All ongoing and forthcoming galaxy surveys target emission lines such as Lyman-α, [OII], and Hα, since emission lines are strong enough to detect and therefore we can efficiiently map the large-scale structure in three dimension in a distant universe. Such surveys include extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS), Hobby-Eberly Telescope Dark Energy Experiment (HETDEX), Dark Enegy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), Subaru Prime Focus Spectrograph (PFS), Eucllid, and the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. In this talk, we will overview and discuss the current status and prospects on cosmology and galaxy evolution science from various emission-line galaxy surveys. In particular, we will focus on the surveys involoving the S&T cosmology group, HETDEX, PFS, and Roman Space Telescope.
