Power Narrowing via Optical Pumping
POSTER
Abstract
Ancillary phase-independent optical fields can be used as probes of lineshape changes due to optical pumping in saturated absorption spectroscopy (SAS). We test a strictly population-based theoretical model of power-driven resonance narrowing by comparing it with experimental results of Rubidium SAS in D1-D1 (pump-probe) and D2-D1 $+$ ancillary optical fields
