Pseudomomentum balance in thin structures, deferred

(This will essentially be the talk I was supposed to give in March 2020). The balance of pseudomomentum is associated with material symmetry in continua. We will employ it in the context of thin, flexible structures, to explain conserved quantities in rotating conical membranes and propulsive forces on confined elastic rods.
