Unusual transport properties of GdPS.
ORAL
Abstract
We report the growth and property study of GdPS, a new member of the ZrSiS-family materials. ZrSiS materials are characterized by the coexistence of nodal-line and non-symmorphic Dirac states, which lead to exotic properties such as electronic correlation enhancement. Introduction of magnetism by rare earth elements further enrich the properties. We found that the magnetic GdPS exhibit very different properties from non-magnetic ZrSiS, which is manifested by unusual magnetoresistance and anisotropy. This discovery offers a new platform to engineer topological states for fundamental physics study and device applications.
