TMD Materials and Chiral Molecules
POSTER
Abstract
The similarity of Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) materials and chiral molecules build an unprecedented bridge in physical chemistry, which both have strong spin-orbital coupling, and would be promising for spintronic and valleytronic applications. Because spin valley diffusion current can be generated and manipulated with circularly polarized photons, the spin selectivity allows us to characterize this charge density and probe valley-polarized exciton dynamics, promisingly to unravel multi-layers of application in molecule-TMD heterojunction, e.g. chirality distinction.
