Uses of Stereolithography Additive Manufacturing in Cryogenic Heat Capacity Measurements
POSTER
Abstract
Affordable additive manufacturing stereolithography devices or 3D printers have been used to produce parts of a specific heat probe that fit in an enclosed insert inside a variable temperature insert of a cryogen free magnet, ranging in temperatures from 2 to 300 K and magnetic fields from 0 to 9.4 T. Specific heat measurement results obtained with lanthanide-based materials in these ranges are presented are discussed.
