Numerical Calculations of Atomic Excitation with Nanosecond Pulses

We are conducting numerical calculations of atomic excitation probabilities with nanosecond and sub-nanosecond pulses of laser light. We intend to compare our results to real-time fluorescence measurements of Rb atoms taken in the lab.
