Resistive Interconnects for Spin Transfer in Silicon Spin Qubits
ORAL
Abstract
Silicon spin qubits can be coupled by shuttling electrons between quantum dots. Prior proposals use a "bucket-brigade" protocol, in which the electron is moved dot by dot through a clocked CCD array. We investigate a simpler protocol, in which a resistive top gate connects remote quantum dots. We model the protocol as an effective Lindblad dynamics on the electron spin, and estimate the Lindblad operators and associated rates; we then compute the average gate fidelity of the resulting transfer operation in the presence of realistic noise sources.
