White Privilege

This session, organized by Physics Magazine and based on the magazine's recent investigations on equity issues, will bring together four researchers and activists whose work has focused on different roots of inequity, including gender-bias, ethnic and geographic discrimination, and prestige-bias.Speakers will give individual talks on their respective domains of activities. They will then gather for a panel discussion that will explore intersections between different discrimination factors and propose possible strategies and practical approaches that researchers and institutions could adopt to make the field of physics as equitable as possible.
