Cosmic Tumbles, Quantum Leaps: A Performance by Le PeTiT CiRqUe®

ORAL

Abstract

Join us for the world’s premiere of Cosmic Tumbles, Quantum Leaps, performed by Nathalie Yves Gaulthier’s multi award-winning Le PeTiT CiRqUe® and created for the APS March Meeting 2023! Witness child prodigy acrobats, cirque performers, Team USA Gold medalists Acro in action.

We explore Nature through the coming together of physics and heightened artistry. Emergence and correlation: coming together to form the whole—sub-atomic particles form matter, grains of sand become dunes, stars cluster into galaxies; Quantum Curiosities---A cat contorts into a box, at once awake and asleep, entities entangle; Projectiles and Spins, arcing across the horizon, exuding angular momentum as electrons, planets, black hole mergers. Together, a festive celebration of what makes us who we are!

Show created by Le PeTiT CiRqUe®’s director, Nathalie Yves Gaulthier, in collaboration with physicist Smitha Vishveshwara and physicist-performance artist Julia Ruth. Poetic physics narrative and voice-over script by Smitha Vishveshwara. Choreography by Kevin Holland, Cirque du Soleil’s Amara De Felippo, and Nathalie Yves Gaulthier.

Nathalie Yves Gaulthier, is the award-winning director and show creator for The Nobel Peace Prize Concert, The Dalai Lama, royalty, shows in Dubia UAE, Canada, Norway , film/TV consultant and the Circus judge on CBS’s series “The World’s Best” with James Corden, Drew Barrymore, RuPaul and Faith Hill.
