Multimode Open Quantum Systems
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Traditional quantum optics platforms, be they based on superconductiong circuits, optical and/or mechanical resonators, are moving towards architectures performing increasingly complex tasks. This requires the control (both passive and active) of many modes including their mutual interactions and their interactions with the environment. The use of topological concepts and artificial intelligence has proved to be fruitful in the engineering and optimization of such multimode open quantum systems. I will give an overview of our work in this area.
