Transitioning from Physics into the Data World

In this talk, I will cover some career options for physicists interested in transitioning to the data industry. I will start by describing technical as well as soft skills required for successfully switching fields, and how acquiring them made a difference in my career. Finally, I will end with some interesting projects I’ve worked on during my various roles in Data Science, DataOps and Analytics Engineering, and the value my research background brought to them.
