Greene Dissertation Award (2022): Tunable strongly coupled superconductivity in magic-angle twisted trilayer graphene
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Magic-angle twisted trilayer graphene (MATTG) was recently discovered as a novel system for exploring moire superconductivity and more generally, correlated electrons in 2D graphene superlattices. The observed behavior in in-plane magnetic fields pointed towards a non-spin-singlet pairing in its superconducting state, which could possibly be non-s-wave as well. In this talk, I will present some recent experimental progress in the understanding of the puzzling phenomenology in this system.
