Hybrid superconductor-semiconductor double nanowire devices

We present some of our recent activities on hybrid superconductor-semiconductor double nanowire devices, which are of particular interest for studying phenomena related to sub-gap quantum states such as Yu-Shiba-Rusinov, Andreev and Majorana states. The double nanowire material system consists of two closely grown InAs nanowires covered by an in-situ metalized half/full (epitaxially matched) Al shell [1]. We show results transport measurements from three types of hybrid double nanowires devices: parallel double quantum dot Josephson junctions [2], Little-Parks devices [3] and superconducting islands [1] in which Yu-Shiba-Rusinov physics, critical current modulation and Coulomb blockade can be investigated.
