Spin-dynamics of the Lieb lattice with variable exchange parameters
ORAL
Abstract
In this talk, we discuss the effects of variable exchange interactions on the spin dynamics of the Lieb lattice. Using a Holstein-Primakoff expansion of the Heisenberg Hamiltonian, we determine the magnetic phase diagram for various magnetic configurations as well as the spin-wave dynamics with multiple nearest-neighbor and next-nearest-neighbor interactions. We also discuss the evolution of a Lieb lattice transforming into a Kagome lattice and how the accompanying respective magnetic configurations change during this process, and whether they remain stable.
