Typical medium theory for disorder driven topological state
POSTER
Abstract
The typical medium theory has been recently generalized for the study of multi-orbital systems. The typical medium dynamical cluster approximation (TMDCA) is capable of reproducing quantitatively the phase diagram of the three-dimensional Anderson model, and the effects of disorder in material-specific multi-orbital models. We apply the TMDCA to study the topological Anderson insulator -- a disorder driven topological state. We compare the results with those from the transfer matrix method and the recursive Green function method.
