Applying Deep Learning to Natural Language and Conversational AI

Deep Learning has made tremendous progress in the past few years, achieving many super-human performances in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning. However, applying deep learning to industrial settings imposes real-world challenges that require non-trial engineering and research innovations. In this talk, I will talk about several case studies where successful applied research of deep learning in the problem space of natural language and conversational AI brings enormous real-world impacts by transforming the way people interact with natural language interfaces.
