Physical properties of ultrastable computer-generated glasses.

Abstract
Computer simulations give unique insights into the microscopic behavior of amorphous materials. It became recently possible to generate ultrastable glass configurations using a simple Monte Carlo algorithm for a broad variety of model glass-formers. In this talk, we show that this discovery has allowed a deeper understanding of the rheological, thermodynamic and thermal properties of amorphous solids.
