How Can Nuclear Energy Support a Clean Future?
Invited
Abstract
Nuclear energy has looked about the same for the last 60 years. Now, startups and the innovation arms of larger companies and looking to deploy new kinds of reactors in the 2030 timeframe. What's different about those technologies? How do they fit into our larger decarbonization plan? Do we still need the reactors we've already got? This talk will focus at a high level on the role nuclear technology could plan in the clean energy future of the U.S. and the world.
