Attractors in disordered active matter and using disorder to control active matter

First, we will discuss old [*] and new theoretical results that show the existence of multiple attractors in disordered active matter for flocks flying through the same realization of quenched disorder, meaning that the fate and history of the flock are strongly dependent on the initial condition. Second, we will discuss how the disorder can be used to control active matter.
