Measurement of the Low Temperature Thermal Conductivity of 3D Printed Material
ORAL
Abstract
In continuation of our measurement of the low temperature properties of polylactic acid (PLA), which is a material commonly used in for 3D printing, we designed an experiment to measure its thermal conductivity between 77K and 300K. We will present results from the experiment and discuss its implications, and discuss its implications on the possibility of being able to use this material in low temperature environments.
