Boardband Tunable Phase Shifter for Microwaves

Abstract
Recently, we introduced a magnetic-flux-tunable phase shifter for propagating microwaves based on three equidistant SQUIDs operating at a single frequency. Here, we report the the phase tunability with unit transmission in a frequency range from 6 to 6.28 GHz. Tunability at different frequencies suggests accurate and practical control of the phase. Our results offer a promising path to tune the phase of microwave signal in waveguides with magnetic-flux bias in quantum computation and quantum communication applications.
