Resistively detected nuclear magnetic resonance in topological insulators
ORAL
Abstract
Topological insulators (TI) possess helical edge or surface states that are protected by both time-reversal symmetry and topology. We will present our proposal to use resistively detected nuclear magnetic resonance (RDNMR) to characterize Dirac fermions at the edge or surface of the TI. The effects of nuclear spins on the edge state conductance in both 2-D and 3-D TIs will be presented.
