Finite temperature dynamics of Coulomb spin liquids
ORAL
Abstract
Coulomb quantum spin liquids like quantum spin ice realize a phase of emergent quantum electrodynamics. However, the energy scales are very different resulting in features like a slow photon and a separation of scales between the spinon and photon. We compute the dynamics of spinons and photons at non-zero temperatures in multiple regimes realizable in neutron scattering and show characteristic changes as temperature is tuned across the different regimes.
