Emission spectrum of atoms in a harmonic trap

We consider an excited atom in a harmonic trap. The evolution of quantum atomic states is theoretically studied under adiabatic approximation. The emission spectra for trapped atoms are calculated. We have show interference effects as well as trapping effect in a trap that has a size larger than the wavelength of radiation.
