Superconducting transition in narrow aluminum strips

ORAL

Abstract

We have studied the superconducting transition in highly conducting granular aluminum strips. The samples were fabricated using electron beam lithography and thermal evaporation. Measurements of resistance and voltage noise as a function of temperature, current and magnetic field show an evolution of different dynamic regimes as the width of the samples is decreased and they become quasi-one dimensional.
