Kondo temperature in a quantum dot system

Abstract
We discuss the dependence of the Kondo temperature $T_K$ of a quantum dot system on the gate voltage $V_g$. We show that due to the finite size of the dot (i.e. the finite single particle level spacing) the dependence $T_{K}(V_g)$ differs from the conventional expression for the Anderson impurity model.
