Melting and Frustration in Temperature-Sensitive Colloids

Abstract

I will review experiments from my laboratory that employ temperature-sensitive microgel particles to induce novel phase behavior in suspension. This phenomenon offers a fantastic new variable for control of lyotropic suspensions.
