Pairwise Additivity in Colloidal Electrostatics

We present a method for measuring electrostatic and hydrodynamic interactions between colloidal particles based on observations of short-time trajectories. We use this method to explore whether forces between colloidal particles can be considered pairwise additive by comparing the force between a pair of particles to forces between groups of several particles.
