Shear Modulus of a Depletion-Induced Colloidal Gel

Abstract
Mechanical properties of a colloidal gel are of great interest because they are related to the processability of the colloidal dispersion and its stability. We measure the shear modulus for colloidal gel networks induced by depletion attraction and determine the relationship between the strength of the depletion attraction and the magnitude of the shear modulus.
