Panel Discussion

As part of the celebration of the World Year of Physics, the World Conference on Physics and Sustainable Development will be held in Durban, South Africa, 31 October - 2 November 2005. Participants from developed and developing nations will join together to formulate action-oriented plans for the contributions that physics and physicists can make to society. This session will begin a discussion of the topics that will be further developed at the World Conference.
