Normal stresses and elastic modulus in sol gels polyester blends

Visco-elasticity and normal stresses in gels can be analyzed using scaling arguments. In our study, polyester gels were made and melt mixed in an extruder at different volume concentrations. Normal stresses and elastic modulus as functions of volume concentration and fractals were analyzed and compared to existing models.
