AI in The NEXT Experiment
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
AI has become a state-of-the-art tool for new physics searches in a broad collection of experiments. In the search for neutrinoless double beta decay, AI impacts candidate event selection and background rejection with a focus on ensuring close agreement between simulation and data. In the NEXT experiment, the addition of high-resolution 3D tracking data with precision energy and a low background detector enables an AI-development platform for fundamental physics that is unparalleled in competing experiments. In this talk, we will present the latest developments of AI applications to the NEXT neutrinoless double beta decay experiment.
