Anomalous chiral transport in nuclear physics and beyond

Abstract

I will review the fundamentals of chiral anomalous effects and point out possible applications in heavy-ion physics, astrophysics, and topological semimetals. I will spotlight the evidence in support of anomalous chiral transport in topological semimetals and try to draw lessons for other fields.
