Graph-theoretical analysis and rescale of chemical reaction system of air-saturated water

Abstract

Understanding the complex chemical reaction systems for describing the plasma-liquid interaction phenomena is important. Graph-theoretical reaction network analysis is one of the most powerful tools to visualize the complexity of gas-phase plasma chemistry.[1] In this study, we focus on the chemistry in air-saturated water, which is treated by low-temperature plasma irradiation. Since the chemistry of plasmas-treated water is complex enough to form a web-like network, the principal component can be derived through the analysis of the statistical centrality of the network structure. Furthermore, we conduct a systematic rescaling of the reaction set while maintaining the scale-freeness (scale-invariance) of the network structure. [1] T. Murakami and O. Sakai, Plasma Sources Sci.
