Reflectometry: A New Probe of Quantum Devices
ORAL
Abstract
Reflectometry is a measurement technique developed over the last decade for use in spin-based quantum information systems. By coupling a resonant LC circuit to a quantum dot (QD) structure, one is able to detect transitions in the QD by monitoring the circuit resonance. In this work, we explore the basic concept underlying the measurement, describe the advantages over traditional transport measurements, and present our progress towards implementing this technique in our lab.
