Observation of the effect of gravity on the motion of antimatter

POSTER

Abstract

The ALPHA collaboration at CERN recently observed the effect of gravitational acceleration on the motion of antihydrogen atoms in a new experiment called ALPHA-g. This poster will review our published result (Nature 621, 716–722, 2023): measurements show that the gravitational acceleration of antihydrogen is consistent with the expectation for standard gravity and rule out the possibility of repulsive gravity.
