Stars and stripes. On peculiar radio emission of the Crab pulsar
ORAL
Abstract
The high-frequency interpulse of the Crab pulsar observed at frequencies 5-30 GHZ exhibits a peculiar spectral band structure. The band frequency separation is not constant but rather shows proportional separation with "delta omega ~ 0.06 omega". Such a peculiar pattern has so far been hard to explain. In this talk we attempt to address this decade-long puzzle.
