Preliminary Results on Photoproduced Transparency of the ρ0 Meson at Jefferson Lab Hall D
ORAL
Abstract
The experiment E12-19-003, conducted at Jefferson Lab’s Hall D in 2021, aimed to investigate the predicted QCD phenomenon known as color transparency through photoproduction of vector mesons from nuclear targets (deuterium, helium, and carbon). In this presentation, I will report preliminary measurements of photoproduced nuclear transparency for the ρ0 meson. Improved background subtraction methods were applied to enhance signal purity in the ρ0 meson reconstruction. The resulting transparency ratios, measured across different nuclear targets as a function of momentum transfer ∣t∣(GeV²), will be presented.
