Non-Efimovian two-neutron halo nuclei
ORAL
Abstract
A common used scenario for the mechanism that binds two-neutron halo nuclei is that of a large scattering length that leads to a shallow bound or virtual core-neutron state. I will discuss another scenario in which a low-lying core-neutron resonance leads to a bound two-neutron halo nucleus. I will discuss the features of such systems and how an effective field theory can be used to calculate their properties.
