Three-body scattering and resonance generation - an example with strangeness
ORAL
Abstract
Recent advances in the formulation and application of three-body amplitudes are extended to meson systems with strangeness. Coupled channels, in combination with long-range kaon exchange, lead to a rich dynamics including the formation of a resonant kaon. We investigate how stable this state is once common approximations like zero isobar-width are dropped. Prospects for extensions to the finite volume, relevant for lattice QCD calculations, are discussed.
