FDSi Phase 2: The Great Move

ORAL · Invited

Abstract

The FRIB Decay Station Initiator (FDSi) array has moved to its second phase. Now settled in its own vault with a new device, a switchyard for FP2, and some quality-of-life improvements. The FP2 switchyard capabilities come via the addition of a new shielding structure. Super3Heni now exists as a primary device, with three PAC3 approved experiments. The new arrangement of electronics racks and utilities improve access to the arrays and increase flexibility for supplementary devices. This talk will give a quick overview of the new features and changes to the FDSi infrastructure.
